Delete your account
Permanent, immediate, and available without contacting anyone.
From the app
Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm.
It happens straight away. The app signs out and returns to setup.
If you no longer have the app installed
Email [email protected] from the address
your account is registered under, with the subject Delete my account. We
action requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is erased
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Every captured photo and video, including the stored files themselves
- All capture records and their context — time, location, device
- Your registered devices and their trap settings
- Your alert recipient addresses
What is kept
- Purchase and transaction records, where tax and accounting law requires. They are unlinked from your account and cannot be used to identify you.
- Nothing else. There is no soft-delete and no recovery window — once deleted, captures cannot be restored, by you or by us.
Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your FaceTrap
account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store under
Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or it will keep
renewing.
